Welcome

For over 25 years, I’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with world champions, elite athletes, and business leaders to unlock peak performance. But the work that truly defines me isn’t on the pitch or in the boardroom - it’s in school communities.

I am the founder of two transformative education programmes: U Can Shine (Primary) and Fierce & Fearless (Secondary).

My mission is simple, yet audacious: to reach the students who have given up on themselves, and turn their disengagement into drive, defiance into determination, and underachievement into excellence.

We don't just manage behaviour; we rebuild identity. We take young people labelled as "challenging" and help them see themselves as courageous, resilient individuals capable of shaping and leading their own futures.

'Shaun has helped me change my mentality. He's given me the belief that I can achieve great things, and it's transformed my life. My parents, and other people have recognised a massive difference and change in me. Now they're saying good things about me - not the usual stuff like before'

'I have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the leadership sessions. I have grown in confidence speaking to other people, and I feel really proud for stepping out of my comfort zone. I feel more people respect me for me just being myself -and not being judged'

'It’s truly been an honour to work with Shaun. His heart is genuine, his intentions always pure, and his presence a steady source of inspiration, honesty, strength and kindness. He leads with integrity, and it's clear to everyone that his heart is true. The challenges he helps people face and overcome is absolutely phenomenal. I’m grateful for every moment shared on this journey together.'

'The group sessions have enabled my confidence to grow because I've been encouraged to just be myself. My attitude at school has improved massively and I've really enjoyed working with Shaun, and other people I wouldn't normally mix with. It's been really interactive and enjoyable, and I've learnt valuable life skills that will help me next year with my with GCSE's and my future'.

Impact 2025/2026
"When they belong, they show up. When they show up, they achieve."

One Student's Attendance  - 79.5% → 100%

Impact 2025/26 - 1 Cohort

13 out of 14 students improved attendance in 8 weeks.

That's not luck. That's a proven approach.

The challenge:

14 Pupil Premium. 6 SEMH. All high risk disengaging. All underachieving. Many already on the persistent absence trajectory.

The approach:
No sanctions. No threatening letters. Just relentless relationship-building—with students and their families. Because attendance isn't a behaviour problem. It's a belonging problem.

The results in 8 weeks:
88.4% → 90.9%
86.0% → 97%
91.5% → 98.5%
87.3% → 97%
92.9% → 97.0%
79.5% → 100%
89.3% → 93.9%
91.5% → 100%
91.2% → 97%
78.0% → 87.9%
91.6% → 97.0%
90.3% → 98.9%
87.5% → 96.8%

13 out of 14 Pupil Premium & SEMH students saw significant, sustained improvement.

One required more time. That's the reality—this isn't a quick fix. It's a commitment.

What shifted?
· Relationship-first, every time· Early intervention before patterns hardened· Parents as partners, not problems· Belonging as the foundation for attendance

Belonging → Attendance → Achievement → Life Chances.

To school leaders:

Ask yourself—are your attendance strategies actually working, or just keeping you busy?

The students who need you most won't respond to sanctions. They'll respond to someone who refuses to give up on them.
